History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. Through the years after Sammal was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. Personality: He is quiet and anti-social and can barely make it a few minutes in conversation before his hampering stammer kicks in. He claims to be unscrupulous but at the end of the day he will do what he thinks is right.

History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Shivering was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He dropped out of school before completing his studies. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.
