History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. He made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. He has became unsatisfied with his lot in life, and decided to take up adventuring.

Motivation: Obtaining odd cultural Halfling artifacts is his passion; and he desires power and/or immortality

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. In his 14th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his mother impaled in their home, and his father beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. Recently a tribe of illithids attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Eberdeb fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.
