He saw this and took pride in his father's willingness to do anything to win. He remains aloof and afraid to be himself due to all the ideals others have placed upon him.

Personality: He is a pretentious jerk insisting that modern society is full of problems and should revert to a simpler time. To his fellows he is seen as friendly and intelligent, but is angry and unforgiving to the so called fatcats and any who do and have associated with them.

History: He was born several months after his mother was called into army service. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. Recently a tribe of brigands attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Gardain fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Motivation: Someone believes him a fraud; and he wants nothing more than to rejoin the army

Personality: He likes to make people angry or surprised. Flattery will make him almost putty in your hands.

History: He got into the Mayor business at a young age. As a young adult he joined a group advocating for an improvement in Halfling conditions. He's also a talented Shipwright, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

Motivation: He doesn't get along with people that don't share his tastes; and a strong sense of loyalty to halfling people

Description: A stocky lighter skinned man, he wears a weathered and beat up set of banded mail beneath an oversized green coat. He is bald on top and has large brown tufts of hair around his ears. He is baby faced.

Personality: A grumpy guy he will invite people to lunch so he can critique them. Yet he still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. He cannot deal with unfamiliar people for more than a few minutes at a time and if they persist he will grow angry at them.

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. Through the years after Gorfel was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the south. Gorfel's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He now mingles about in high society.

Motivation: He's repulsed by the PC; and he is greedy

Personality: Friendly and accommodating he would invite many more into his home than his spouse would be comfortable with if they did not express concern about it. When triggered he is a bloodthirsty maniac, stopping at nothing and killing everything for almost an hour.

History: Tree was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his father was employed at, doing general labor. While he appears to be a normal Tabaxi, he's... not quite right. Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. He is untrained/undisciplined, which makes him dangerous.

Motivation: He is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally.
