History: Born in the west to a Carter, Thervan learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. A serious injury left his father unemployed and in need of constant care. His family became saddled with debt trying to care for his infirm father. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Carter for hire.

Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Carter responsibilities is difficult.
