Umpen's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He is untrained/undisciplined, which makes him dangerous.

History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. A freak accident while working with his Slave Trader mother left him crippled. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.
