His mother taught him the rudiments of the Servant arts, while his father instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. His mother disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his mother, he was betrayed dozens of times. He has been saving his money to try and buy his sister's freedom.

History: Aldous was born the youngest of three triplets. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Map Maker hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Painter they were divorced and he won custody of their son. He worked as a Map Maker, and he later adopted a second son.

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. In his 10th year, his parents were killed by a dire rats raid, leaving John alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
