History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He struck the Soapmaker job and began his own company from there.

History: Born in the south to a Guard, Barendd learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. He was an apprentice working in his mother's forge. He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.
