Personality: He is almost excessively polite to everyone, even when angry. He is terrible with names forgetting people's names several times before they finally stick; this causes him no end of embarrassment.

History: He was born at the edge of vast mountains. As a young adult he joined a group advocating for an improvement in Halfling conditions. He remains aloof and afraid to be himself due to all the ideals others have placed upon him.

He would ruin relationships and cause injury. He was reprimanded several times before being given his current form and forced to learn humility.

When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Sage hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. Some 4 years later his spouse died after the birth of his son. Heartbroken, Nicholas never married again. Instead he focused his life to raising his son whom he trained as his father had trained him before.

He dropped out of school before completing his studies. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.
