Description: Wearing a closed helm and plate, one would not know what he was had he not made sure his armor was more form fitting than normal. Outside of the suit he tends to wear a blue poncho over his likewise colored trousers and shirt. He has a long auburn beard with little hanging trinkets. His eyes are amber and he is always smoking a pipe.

Personality: He is shy and timid. He has not had much interaction with people and is skittish around them. He does not believe in violence as a means to an end. He is a dedicated Brewer but believes his peers are too gung-ho.

History: When he was but 4 years old his parents immigrated from the north. Because his mother participated in the massacre of their homeland, illithids burned their ranch to the ground and forced them out. He was preparing to flee to the north, but the outbreak of war prevented him and his father from journeying north to reunite his family. He remains aloof and afraid to be himself due to all the ideals others have placed upon him.

Motivation: A deep hatred of illithids; and someone believes him a fraud

Description: He has a missing right leg. He wears baggy brown pantaloons and a violet scarf. His hair is white, silky, and of moderate length. He has gleaming, smiling amber eyes.

Personality: He is extraordinarily eccentric. He lacks moral complications. He does what he is told to by employers but not much else. He spends his money on whatever he fancies at the time.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. Through the years after Gnarsh was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the south. Gnarsh's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He has gone from town to town till he finds a spot where he can set up a sustainable business.

Motivation: He'd like to take his coworkers down a peg; and expand his business

Personality: He is irascible and easily irritated. He also hits on women, regardless of circumstances.

History: He was always a brilliant, if unscrupulous mind. From his teen years he was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on him. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Motivation: He is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally; and he wants to get laid

Description: This younger middle-aged man is generally shirtless and showing off his tattooed chest, and a wedding ring on his left hand. With bright golden hair and a scraggly beard. His eyes are hazel and beady.

Personality: He shows great sympathy to all travelers. He's the type to buy drinks and listen to their stories. He is a bit of a xeno-phobe, disliking non-Halflings.

History: Pikar was born in the east. At a young age he loved to build and create. Before the accident, he was one of the most outspoken anti-Halfling activists. He was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Halfling doctor. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: He has money and likes to spend it; and a strong sense of loyalty to halfling people
