History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. Lewis was born on a far eastern island where he grew up under the tutelage of his father, an expert Assassin. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when giants swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. His father worked until he suffered an accident while they were digging through a hill for a new route. He had to support his now crippled father and took his father's old job. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to giants demanding more tribute than usual.

Aside from being a slave or a gladiator, there isn't much legitimate work for Half-Elves in Theren's homeland. Theren decided to take the middle way and become a bodyguard.
