Personality: He has a very dry and sarcastic sense of humor. He is not one for noise or eating so much, which is in direct contrast with his big mouthed big gutted partner. His partner is his best friend in the world. The two are very close despite being more or less each other's opposites. He is obsessed with a lost civilization.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. When the war came and ruined his parents he was left adrift. He was a hard man then and has only learned to fight more as time goes on. He has dedicated himself to building a better kind of golem.

Personality: Naal speaks confidently about a variety of topics with grace. He is clearly well-traveled and educated. As he has aged he has sought to do reparations for his actions as a youth. He is also making sure that his compatriots who never received punishment for their crimes are brought to justice.

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his father. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Naal grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Naal. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: He feels that his past leaves him morally obligated to help; and nothing but the best is good enough for him

Personality: Confrontational and typically high on some drug or another. He is fiercely devoted to his mother, and views his mother's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating him from his legal half-sister.

History: He was born at the edge of vast plains. He has had some formal poetry training, and achieved minor success. He's since become an addict/alcoholic.

Motivation: To reunite with his absent mother; and his relatives are trying to arrange a marriage

Personality: He is happy with his job as a Beggar. He turns his eye from what people do, preferring to live and let live. He will do just about anything if he becomes convinced it is for someone's true love, of this he is easily convinced.

History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. He helped his father out around the business and became quite the natural. He has recently attracted an admirer that believes he's playing hard to get.

Motivation: To find somewhere to settle down; and further expansion of business

Description: Runty and weak-looking, he very much looks the part of a Navigator. His long blonde hair reaches down to his waist. He wears an eyepatch.

Personality: A grumpy guy he will invite people to lunch so he can critique them. Yet he still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. He invites people to come help in his community garden.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. Like his father and his brother before him, after school he went straight into learning to become a Navigator. He struck the Navigator job and began his own company from there.

Motivation: Sabotage a competitor; and he is unsatisfied with his job
