Personality: He is irascible and easily irritated. He has a cruel streak; something he gained from his previous mentor. He harbors resentment against his former mentor.

History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Alston was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. The family's rival house kidnapped his sister with the intent that his sister marry their son to gain control of contested properties. He has since lost track of the people in his past.

Motivation: To reunite with his absent mother; and find a way to reverse the transformation of his sister

Personality: Stoic and calm, he prefers to meditate than take action. As long as the job gets done he does not care how it got done.

History: He was born several months after his mother was called into army service. He found a children's book about a Half-Elf Wizard who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. When he grew older, he became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. He began work as a mercenary for hire. He would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Jebeddo grew up listening to his father's many stories. A freak accident while working with his Baker father left him crippled. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. He inherited a moderately successful company from his mother. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. He now spends his time doing works of charity.

Motivation: Retire the richest man in the south; and money/treasure
