Personality: A rambunctious noisy drunk he knows how to make people feel guilty. He is however nostalgic and wants to reunite with his old comrades. He has some compunction and patriotism and will work for the government before all other clients.

History: Mantus was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his father was employed at, doing general labor. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Tiefling companion (his 'brother'). When he grew older, he became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. He began work as a mercenary for hire. He would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

Some 7 years later his spouse died after the birth of his daughter. Heartbroken, Veit never married again. Instead he focused his life to raising his daughter whom he trained as his father had trained him before.

Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever; and he is terrified, and will act out of fear
