Personality: He is a Ploughman first and foremost. He believes firmly that knowledge should be universal. The war was a terrible time for him, and Kite does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: The child of a Mason, who enjoyed hunting, Kite was taken on many hunting expeditions. He married young, but lost his spouse to orcs. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to orcs demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: To be a Mason again; and sabotage a competitor

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. His father disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his father, he was betrayed dozens of times. He has since lost track of the people in his past.

Motivation: Retire the richest man in the east; and his spouse's relatives view him with great suspicion

History: Born to a Navigator, his mother struggled to pay the bills. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Gnomes in the east were limited. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: He made a deal with a demon which lead to his current lot in life, and he's becoming increasingly nervous about it; and he is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally
