History: The child of northern immigrants he idolized his mother. His mother was a soldier and died while he was still young. Hobart was left his mother's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Personality: He is a Barrister first and foremost. He believes firmly that knowledge should be universal. He does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of brigands may trigger it at times.

History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. His father disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his father, he was betrayed dozens of times. He now mingles about in high society.
