History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Kerkad was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. Kerkad liked to wander the woods near his home when he was young, something he still likes to do at least once a week. He never liked modest clothing or shoes, so he would wander the woods barefoot and lightly dressed, and he developed a good sense of balance and learned how to climb and swim well. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Rangrim is a bit of a follower. Usually he is manipulated by his sisters into helping them out, but recently he has become more of a free agent.

History: Rangrim lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Dwarven companion (his 'brother'). When he grew older, he became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. He began work as a mercenary for hire. He would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.
