History: Ar-Baruk hails from a village terrorized by goblins. His parents were killed by goblins in a raid when he was still a young child. The goblins captured him, and made him a slave and general play-thing. He was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to his deformed appearance. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by goblins. Ar-Baruk was horrified and prayed that his father was alright. However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the goblins.

Personality: He is not truly malevolent, but he is obsessed with poetry. He constantly tries to fill his life with poetry. He is vehemently anti-magic. All of it is evil and corrupting in his opinion.

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. He moved from fad to fad and when he turned 15 he discovered poetry. He inherited the family business which he has now maintained for 15 years.

Motivation: He wants to meet his childhood hero; and to reunite with his old friends
