History: Bucklal hails from a village terrorized by dire rats. He has had some formal writing training, and achieved minor success. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Personality: While he acts the brute, he is far gentler than he would appear. He is a ruthless business man, a trait he acquired from his mother.

History: Altho was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Barbarian, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Barbarian in service of a powerful lord somewhere. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Halfling companion (his 'brother'). Recently a tribe of orcs attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Altho fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

History: Pallabar was born the youngest of three triplets. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Shipwright. He struck the Shipwright job and began his own company from there.

Motivation: He has passion for adventuring and risk; and balancing his hectic life and new shipwright responsibilities is difficult

Personality: He seems absolutely devoid of it. He stares off into space and will respond with overly literal and minimalist answers to questions. He claims to be unscrupulous but at the end of the day he will do what he thinks is right.

History: The child of eastern immigrants he idolized his mother. He was a friend to animals and a trickster. In his defense of animals however he would do severe harm to people. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.

Motivation: He has a rivalry with the Church that dominates his actions; and his religion dominates his actions
