Personality: He is intelligent and cunning, but he will too often allow his rage to get the better of him. He will lose his cool and rely on brute force to carry the day. The war was a terrible time for him, and Randal does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Randal was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He inherited a moderately successful company from his father. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

History: Manfred was born with his father's beautiful face. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Human companion (his 'brother'). He then took over the family business and is one of the better Fletcher for hire.

Personality: He will use flattery and sarcasm to attack and weaken his opponents. Despite his formidable combat skills he remains a coward. He is however nostalgic and wants to reunite with his old comrades. He has some compunction and patriotism and will work for the government before all other clients.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when brigands swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. At a young age his mother died while driving off some brigands. His father being the stubborn sort decided to stay and helped train him in shield use. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature shield.

Motivation: He desires power and/or immortality; and sabotage a competitor
