His partner is his best friend in the world. The two are very close despite being more or less each other's opposites. He is skeptical of what others tell him and is slow to trust.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. Cursed with vampirism at a very young age, Arannis has worked very hard to control his curse. He remains aloof and afraid to be himself due to all the ideals others have placed upon him.

History: Gruk was raised in a hard working conservative environment. He struck it rich when he found rare goods in large quantities. He's also a talented Courier, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

Motivation: Wants to open a new tavern; and balancing his hectic life and new carter responsibilities is difficult
