History: Gorbundus hails from a village terrorized by goblins. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

History: A child with a great deal of writing talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. His father was a mechanic, and taught him how to fix just about anything. He got away from his former life and has fallen to alcoholism.

History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. A freak accident while working with his Dyer father left him crippled. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: Gifted from a young age, Koth studied abroad. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He got away from his former life and has fallen to alcoholism.

History: Lance was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his mother was employed at, doing general labor. Lance was born on a far northern plains where he grew up under the tutelage of his mother, an expert Marshal. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.
