He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

History: Born in the west to a Bowyer, Fonkin learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. In his 11th year, his parents were killed by a brigands raid, leaving Fonkin alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted.
