History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. In his formative years he discovered how persuasive he was. He began using that to his advantage selling useless wares at inflated prices. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. Because his mother participated in the massacre of their homeland, drow burned their ranch to the ground and forced them out. He was preparing to flee to the west, but the outbreak of war prevented him and his father from journeying west to reunite his family. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Personality: Eccentric and domineering, Gerald will drive conversation. A true patriot, Gerald would do anything for his country. He is fiercely protective of his fellow citizens and foreign allies.

History: The child of northern immigrants he idolized his mother. Gerald abandoned his home at a very young age, living in the fields and plains. He survived everyday through hunting and stealing from passersby. He did whatever it took for him to survive. Lacking all sense, he decided to go on an adventure. He picked a direction and started trekking.

Personality: He goes out his way to put a smile on everyone's face. There's no-one he won't accept into his heart. He is a very good compulsive liar and kleptomaniac.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when giants swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. His parents were killed by giants in a raid when he was still a young child. The giants captured him, and made him a slave and general play-thing. He was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to his deformed appearance. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to giants demanding more tribute than usual.
