Personality: He barks his statements quickly and with little fuss. He prefers small words and is at his heart utilitarian. Despite his manner, he is extremely passionate and proud of his job, and he prides himself in being thorough and never missing a detail.

History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Umpen was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. His childhood dream was to be a Dyer, but he was a colossal failure. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Mason for hire.

Description: He wears a lot of dark rich colors, with gold accents. He is portly but not overly obese. His hair is cut close to his head. His eyes, though not visible through his cowl, are amber.

Personality: He has a very dry and sarcastic sense of humor. He is not one for noise or eating so much, which is in direct contrast with his big mouthed big gutted partner. His partner is his best friend in the world. The two are very close despite being more or less each other's opposites. He is a bit of a macho man and will challenge people to random contests of strength and skill, and invite them to random hunting and fishing trip.

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his father. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Personality: He is highly sensitive about his name. He loathes it, but will not take any guff about it from anyone. He refers to his adoptive mother for almost all things he is unsure about, which are numerous. He is very much still a child and has not developed a drive for self-dependency.

History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. He was taken from his home at a very young age. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Jeweler they were divorced and he won custody of their daughter. He worked as a Navigator, and he later adopted a second daughter.

Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever; and doesn't want to be a navigator and was forced into it by his family

Description: This late middle aged man wears a simple pastel robe with green stripes complete with hood and is in decent physical shape. He has done his best to style his red hair to look like a famous performer. His amber eyes dart around the room hyper actively observing anyone and anything.

Personality: He is quite gentle and does not know the full extent of his strength. He works very hard to maintain that gentleness. He takes great joy in being the best Masseuse in town.

History: The child of eastern immigrants he idolized his mother. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Motivation: He feels the way he acts is they only way to get by in the world; and expand his business

Personality: He trusts no one. He is not readily capable for forgiveness and his ire never leaves him. He passes on several rewards to people in need. He makes a point to leave places better than he found them.

History: Born in the east to a Dyer, Zaffrab learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Dyer. He now spends his time doing works of charity.

Motivation: Expand his business; and he is unsatisfied with his job
