When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Marshal hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He has gone from town to town till he finds a spot where he can set up a sustainable business.

Motivation: He is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get him out; and he wants nothing more than to rejoin the army

History: He was born in the west. He struck it rich when he found rare goods in large quantities. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: Someone believes him a fraud; and he is greedy

History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his mother and father. His mother taught him the rudiments of the Cartwright arts, while his father instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. His family was being driven out of business by several neighboring competitors. The mother sought out extralegal help and others began closing their doors. He saw this and took pride in his mother's willingness to do anything to win. As of late he has set up a hidden staging nest where he ambushes people he hires for escort.

Motivation: He will attempt to ambush and attack anyone he thinks he can take on alone and try to knock them out with non-lethal damage. If successful, he will try to sell them to his slave-trader contact; and he has money and likes to spend it
