He found a children's book about a Tabaxi Aristocrat who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. Lacking all sense, he decided to go on an adventure. He picked a direction and started trekking.

History: Fonkin was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his father was employed at, doing general labor. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Mortician hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

The mother sought out extralegal help and others began closing their doors. He saw this and took pride in his mother's willingness to do anything to win. Recently a tribe of drow attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Elegant fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.
