Personality: He is a very philanthropic person; he spends his free time working at various soup kitchens. Further he is a bit of a stoner and is frequently out of it.

History: He was born in the south, but his parents moved at a very young age to the north. Randal was a troubled youth. He spent his days as a hard laborer instead of attending school, and spent his evenings with numerous mobsters and gang members. Randal decided he wanted neither the life of his mother nor that of the evil petty criminals he associated with. During his early adolescence, he took a sudden opportunity while working the docks and commandeered a vessel that was left unmanned. He got away from his former life and has fallen to alcoholism.

He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. He left for the south, certain he would find work there.
