He was preparing to flee to the west, but the outbreak of war prevented him and his mother from journeying west to reunite his family. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by gnolls. Rolen was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the gnolls.

Personality: He barks his statements quickly and with little fuss. He prefers small words and is at his heart utilitarian. Energy wise he seems alert and responsive.

History: Trained by his father for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. In his 16th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his father impaled in their home, and his mother beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.

Personality: He is almost excessively polite to everyone, even when angry. He will often invite strangers home for dinner and talk their ears off. He cares deeply for his spouse and does his best to make sure his guests look presentable.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious northern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. At a young age he wooed the heart of his future spouse and the two had a long relationship before they wed. Some 8 years later his spouse died after the birth of his daughter. Heartbroken, Ribbles never married again. Instead he focused his life to raising his daughter whom he trained as his father had trained him before.
