History: Cressel hails from a village terrorized by gnolls. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He now mingles about in high society.

History: Gifted from a young age, Uthemar studied abroad. After coming to the age of reason, Uthemar took it upon himself to study the arcane arts in their entirety; because of this, he was labeled a dark omen and banished from his homeland. Recently a tribe of orcs attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls.
