History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his father. Hugh abandoned his home at a very young age, living in the fields and plains. History: He was born in the north, but his parents moved at a very young age to the west. His father took him hunting and taught him how to get in the mind of other creatures. Being a Cartwright kept his interest for a while, but then he became depressed and bored. So he turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.

When he grew older, he became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. He began work as a mercenary for hire. He would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.
