Veit's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

History: He was born to a criminal king-pin and mafia family While he appears to be a normal Tiefling, he's... not quite right. History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. His mother was a soldier and died while he was still young. Drifting was left his mother's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.
