History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Thorpe was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: He was raised by priests from a young age. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Architect work with an outfit from a few towns over. Architect work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. By chance he met his brother recently and the two have been together since.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Broce grew up listening to his father's many stories. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Motivation: To reunite with his old friends; and he doesn't get along with people that don't share his tastes
