Through the years after Duergath was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the west. Duergath's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his mother. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He got money to start a business from the gang present in town. He is greatly indebted to them.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. A freak accident while working with his Barkeep mother left him crippled. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.
