History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. He struck it rich when he found rare goods in large quantities. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

Motivation: He wants revenge against dire rats.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when goblins swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. In his 11th year, his parents were killed by a goblins raid, leaving Oloric alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by goblins. Oloric was horrified and prayed that his father was alright. However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the goblins.

History: His mother raised him in a mountain cabin. Being born in the south, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the south for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way east. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his sons to still be retired.
