History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. His father was very strict, and drilled into him lessons on being the perfect gentleman. Some 2 years later his spouse died after the birth of his daughter. Heartbroken, Therai never married again. Instead he focused his life to raising his daughter whom he trained as his father had trained him before.

Personality: He tends to agree with only himself unless someone else's opinion sounds like he can profit from it. He tries to control his temper but he can't always stop himself from what he feels what must be done. He uses his nature as a weapon; he likes to lead opponents to think him in distress.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. Through the years after Zaffrab was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the west. Zaffrab's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.
