Personality: He is quite gentle and does not know the full extent of his strength. He works very hard to maintain that gentleness. He does not regard money as being a problem because it has never been a problem for him. He lives in a bit of an ivory tower believing all problems are one quick intervention away from being solved.

History: Born in the west to a Barkeep, Nelkin learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. While he appears to be a normal Halfling, he's... not quite right. Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. He has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Barkeep.

He always admired divine-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. In his journeys he found a malevolent artifact. He wishes to return this artifact and its corrupting influence back to where it came.

Motivation: Wants his loneliness to end; and obtaining odd cultural half-elven artifacts is his passion

Since his father passed away years ago, his mother had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. He hasn't been sleeping well lately.

Motivation: A rival would like him out of the picture; and to get a good night's sleep
