Personality: He has two modes he varies between. On the job he is cold, steely and emotionless. Off the job he is a party animal. The war was a terrible time for him, and Cloud does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: The child of northern immigrants he idolized his father. His father was a soldier and died while he was still young. Cloud was left his father's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. He became a Map Maker soon after.

Motivation: Wants to open a new tavern; and balancing his hectic life and new map maker responsibilities is difficult

Personality: A grumpy guy he will invite people to lunch so he can critique them. Yet he still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. He cannot deal with unfamiliar people for more than a few minutes at a time and if they persist he will grow angry at them.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He now spends his time doing works of charity.

Personality: A deeply religious man he believes everything happens for a reason. He loves his children and doesn't want them to worry about him. He loves to share his painting with anyone who is interested.

History: Azzakh lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. His father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his father was legitimate. He has since lost track of the people in his past.

Motivation: He has a rivalry with the Church that dominates his actions; and to reunite with his absent mother
