Motivation: He is content; and he will attempt to ambush and attack anyone he thinks he can take on alone and try to knock them out with non-lethal damage. if successful, he will try to sell them to his slave-trader contact

Personality: Overbrimming with self-confidence, Qualen isn't afraid of most anything. He has a strong dislike to people who do not believe in Gnomish unity. His actions favor neither the good nor the evil, as he answers to a power that mortal men fail to acknowledge.

History: Born in the west to a Miner, Qualen learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. His mother was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his mother was legitimate. He is searching for what he claims is his rightful reward.
