History: The child of western immigrants he idolized his father. He has had some formal painting training, and achieved minor success. Recently a tribe of illithids attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Personality: Heian is a sociable creature first and foremost. He loves to listen to people at length before talking their ear off. He can carry on conversation for hours and will do so. He is often prim and proper but will on occasion tell either really disgusting or offensive jokes, which seem out of character.

History: Heian was raised in a hard working conservative environment. His childhood dream was to be a Shoemaker, but he was a colossal failure. Some 6 years later his spouse died after the birth of his son. Heartbroken, Heian never married again. Instead he focused his life to raising his son whom he trained as his father had trained him before.
