History: Arannis was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his father was employed at, doing general labor. Arannis liked to wander the woods near his home when he was young, something he still likes to do at least once a week. He never liked modest clothing or shoes, so he would wander the woods barefoot and lightly dressed, and he developed a good sense of balance and learned how to climb and swim well. Personality: He dislikes all the random violence that takes place in the north. He does not believe in violence as a means to an end. He is a dedicated Guard but believes his peers are too gung-ho.

History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. In his youth he was part of a gang. He got caught, but did not rat out his comrades and served his time in prison. He has recently gotten a pet goose that steals things from people.

Motivation: To reunite with his old friends; and he is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences his actions
