He is the most sanctimonious self-righteous Halfling in existence. History: He was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for him. It may also be what makes him so good at details. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when giants swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. Because his mother participated in the massacre of their homeland, giants burned their ranch to the ground and forced them out. He was preparing to flee to the west, but the outbreak of war prevented him and his father from journeying west to reunite his family. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.
