History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Jade grew up listening to his mother's many stories. He has had some formal poetry training, and achieved minor success. He is searching for what he claims is his rightful reward.

History: Gale hails from a village terrorized by giants. His childhood dream was to be a Sculptor, but he was a colossal failure. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to giants demanding more tribute than usual.
