His respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to him, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, he tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in his reactions to snap at those who irritate him, Rivaan is combative with any and all who dare try his patience in the slightest.

History: He was born in the east. Through the years after Rivaan was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the east. Rivaan's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Scribe.

History: He is a Jackalwere in disguise. His family was being driven out of business by several neighboring competitors. The father sought out extralegal help and others began closing their doors. He saw this and took pride in his father's willingness to do anything to win. He has became unsatisfied with his lot in life, and decided to take up adventuring.

Motivation: He is wracked by social anxiety; and find a way to reverse the transformation of his sister

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when brigands swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. He went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Map Maker for the past few years.

Motivation: A deep hatred of brigands; and sabotage a competitor
