History: He was raised in a mountains tribe. His first spouse was a Painter, they had one son, but his spouse won total custody. Without his spouse to temper him he grew out of control. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Painter they were divorced and he won custody of their son. He worked as a Gardener, and he later adopted a second son.

Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Gardener and was forced into it by his family; and to share knowledge with the world

He lives in a bit of an ivory tower believing all problems are one quick intervention away from being solved.

History: He comes from a rich western family. He took after his mother in leading caravans. Because they were valued, his mother taught him to defend himself. When his mother died while fighting goblins, the young Quarethon began to lead the lost caravan. He became a Crown-heir soon after.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious western family, he was no stranger to responsibility. He dropped out of school before completing his studies. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. His mother was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his mother was legitimate. He has since lost track of the people in his past.

Motivation: His religion dominates his actions; and marry his sister to traveling adventurers
