He is fiercely devoted to his father, and views his father's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating him from his legal half-sister.

History: Jak hails from a village terrorized by drow. Being born in the east, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the east for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way south. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Jeweler they were divorced and he won custody of their daughter. He worked as a Fortune-teller, and he later adopted a second daughter.

History: Sethrekar was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his father was employed at, doing general labor. His psionic abilities were realized during a raid on his village. He was granted psionic powers by his dying sister.

History: Sark lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town.
