History: Sold as a small child to a necromancer, River was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He struck it rich when he found rare goods in large quantities. After months of barely getting by, River managed to ambush a major caravan with a load of valuables. Instantly wealthy, he made his way to the capital under a new identity.

Motivation: He will attempt to ambush and attack anyone he thinks he can take on alone and try to knock them out with non-lethal damage. If successful, he will try to sell them to his slave-trader contact; and seeks redemption

Personality: He has a massive crush on the younger sibling of the Marshal who has hired him part-time. He does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of gnolls may trigger it at times.

History: He was born into a rich family. Like his mother and his brother before him, after school he went straight into learning to become a Marshal. He has gone from town to town till he finds a spot where he can set up a sustainable business.

Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Marshal responsibilities is difficult.

His respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to him, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, he tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in his reactions to snap at those who irritate him, Ghesh is combative with any and all who dare try his patience in the slightest.

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. Ghesh was born on a far northern island where he grew up under the tutelage of his mother, an expert Mason. He has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.
