Personality: He likes to be helpful to his clients. He likes to prescribe proper advice to his clients. He does not believe in violence as a means to an end. He is a dedicated Shepherd but believes his peers are too gung-ho.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when giants swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. He was an apprentice working in his father's forge. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by giants. Nirgel was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the giants.

Personality: He takes his job very seriously, in part because he fears he cannot get a new one. Around other people he will do his best to conceal his emotions and appear jolly.

History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. Rolen liked to wander the woods near his home when he was young, something he still likes to do at least once a week. He never liked modest clothing or shoes, so he would wander the woods barefoot and lightly dressed, and he developed a good sense of balance and learned how to climb and swim well. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Sage for hire.

Personality: He considers himself the protector of his home. He feels this is his duty and calling. He is a logical person and will generally grow upset if things defy logic and science.

History: Trained by his mother for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. His mother was a soldier and died while he was still young. Gerard was left his mother's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Motivation: To protect his home; and to clean up the streets

Personality: He is curt in most of his responses. He prefers to keep his word usage to a minimum to avoid giving away unnecessary information. Animals are drawn to him, and he is able to talk to them.

History: He was born several months after his father was called into army service. His father was a soldier and died while he was still young. Cairn was left his father's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army.

Personality: He can speak with the recently deceased. On top of that he is swayed by a pretty face, and while loyalty to his employer will always come first he doesn't like to hit women.

History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his father and mother. His father taught him the rudiments of the Animal Trainer arts, while his mother instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. His father had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

Motivation: Wants his loneliness to end; and a need for knowledge about a nearby landmark
