Description: This man is bedraggled and starved. He wears an old set of leather armor, nicked and torn by the ravages of time and battle. His hair is always cut to a buzz. He has a dull look in his green eyes.

Personality: He is quite gentle and does not know the full extent of his strength. He works very hard to maintain that gentleness. He constantly seizes attention wherever he goes and has come to expect this respect from everyone. He likes to think of himself as merciful, but nonetheless is very strict.

History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Server hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Miller they were divorced and he won custody of their daughter. He worked as a Server, and he later adopted a second daughter.

Personality: He is unhospitable to his core. His small house has "No trespassing" Signs all over it. He believes the world needs to unite to get rid of gnolls once and for all.

History: Emerald hails from a village terrorized by gnolls. He moved from fad to fad and when he turned 15 he discovered writing. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: Expand his business; and wants to open a new tavern

He carries his fan with him everywhere and carries himself as the perfect gentleman. His brown hair is styled in orderly dreadlocks. He has a dull look in his hazel eyes.

Personality: He misses his glory days as an athlete. He does not mind his job, but it is boring in comparison. He lacks restraint and is impulsive. He jumps in and acts without thinking all too often.

History: Varis was born the youngest of three triplets. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his daughters to still be retired.

Motivation: Marry his brother to traveling adventurers; and he has money and likes to spend it

Description: He wears a well pressed and immaculate suit (or dress). He cuts an attractive figure and his suit of old armor is well cared for even if it is obsolete. He has a small bristly mustache and wavy brown hair. He wears crescent spectacles with a black brim.

Personality: Aside from being a little slow due to sleep deprivation he is generally quite perceptive. He notices little details and can draw good conclusions from them. He is cautious and jumpy. He reacts to every sound and lacks any concept of subtlety.

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his father. Since his father passed away years ago, his mother had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. He hasn't been sleeping well lately.

Personality: He has a very dry and sarcastic sense of humor. He is not one for noise or eating so much, which is in direct contrast with his big mouthed big gutted partner. His partner is his best friend in the world. The two are very close despite being more or less each other's opposites. He is obsessed with finding treasure.

History: A child with a great deal of painting talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. He moved from fad to fad and when he turned 15 he discovered painting. He left for the north, certain he would find work there.

Motivation: His religion dominates his actions; and a need for knowledge about a nearby landmark
