Motivation: He feels that his past leaves him morally obligated to help; and wishes to resurrect an old love

Personality: Varis speaks confidently about a variety of topics with grace. He is clearly well-traveled and educated. He is vehemently anti-magic. All of it is evil and corrupting in his opinion.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious northern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. Varis liked to wander the woods near his home when he was young, something he still likes to do at least once a week. He never liked modest clothing or shoes, so he would wander the woods barefoot and lightly dressed, and he developed a good sense of balance and learned how to climb and swim well. He left for the north, certain he would find work there.

History: Uthemar was born the youngest of three triplets. From his teen years he was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on him. He now owns his own business.
