Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature bastard sword.

History: Gildmak lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. He dropped out of school to support his sick father, and resented it. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Motivation: To reunite with his absent father; and find a way to reverse the transformation of his sister

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his mother. He was an apprentice working in his mother's forge. He has gone from town to town till he finds a spot where he can set up a sustainable business.

Personality: He is erratic and paranoid. He believes drow are coming to abduct people. He lacks restraint and is impulsive. He jumps in and acts without thinking all too often.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. He went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to drow demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: To prove his worth to the world; and several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge
